'Show Us the Proof': MLC Naveen Confronts Sri Chaitanya Staff Over Unverified NEET Seat Ranks

ANDHRA PRADESH: A heated confrontation broke out between Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Naveen and an employee of Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions over the coaching giant's public claims regarding top national ranks and medical college admissions.

During the interaction, MLC Naveen demanded concrete supporting data for the promotional advertisements published by the institute, which claim that a majority of successful candidates in national competitive exams like NEET belong to their coaching branches.

The debate escalated when the Sri Chaitanya employee asserted that the institution's students secured 3,500 out of the 5,000 available Category-A government quota seats in NEET admissions. However, when asked to produce verified student enrollment numbers or official documentation substantiating the claim, the representative refused to share any underlying data.

Strongly questioning the mathematical probability of the statement, MLC Naveen asked, "If that's true, show the data. How can one institution alone secure such a huge share?"

Growing Scrutiny Over Misleading Educational Advertisements

Despite repeated inquiries from the legislator requesting verifiable proof, the employee declined to provide any supporting evidentiary records or candidate verification details, maintaining that the figures reflected the management's internal records.

The confrontation comes amid increasing regulatory oversight by central authorities and consumer rights commissions regarding deceptive rank claims, multi-institution student counting, and unverified statistical promotions published by private competitive exam coaching centers across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
